CONDITIONS OF WORTH
These are beliefs that we have that our intrinsic value as a human is subject to us meeting certain criterion of opinions and behaviours. Common ones are 'men must be strong', 'parents need to be perfect' or 'old people shouldn't be a burden to others'.

CONDITIONS OF WORTH are often the result of the INTROJECTED VALUES that we’ve taken on from our social interactions with others and therefore are not generated from our own deeply individual sense of what is right, wrong, true or false. The place from which our values and beliefs are determined is known as our LOCUS OF EVALUATION, and this can either be internally generated, from our unique, organismic truth, or externally generated, being adopted from others as a means of attempting to have our needs met.
